讲座学者简介:
皮尔•古拉姆•纳比(Peer Ghulam Nabi)现为印度克什米尔发展政策研究中心创办主任,公共知识分子、作家与社会评论员。他于2014年获发展研究博士学位,拥有历史学、国际发展与公共政策双硕士学位,并曾在瑞典乌普萨拉大学获得冲突管理与和平构建课程的相关文凭。作为国际减贫研究中心的一员,他积极投身于印度和世界各地多所大学的教学与讲座活动,与印度国内社会组织和多个国际组织之间有良好的合作。他的学术领域主要涵盖农业政治经济与治理、土地政治与发展干预,并试图通过小额信贷、灾害与发展、非政府/非营利机构管理、冲突管理与和平的建构等发展行动来促进就业机会的增长。纳比研究员曾多次在印度国内外的知名学术期刊发表研究成果,并通过公共媒体进行传播。已出版关于《自然灾害与人道主义响应》等著作,新著《地球碎片:克什米尔的土地与水资源政治》即将由牛津大学出版社出版,同时他还在写作《南亚遭遇灾害》并制作一个关于受冲突影响的克什米尔年轻人的纪录片。
Short-bio of the speaker:
Dr. PeerGhulam Nabi is the director of a Srinagar based think-tank Centre for Research and Development Policy-CRDP. A public intellectual, writer, and commentator, Peer has earned his PhD degree in Development studies and master's degrees in Public Policy in International Development and Indian History. Dr. Peer has also got diploma in conflict management and peace building. A fellow of International Poverty Reduction Center, Peer has been actively engaged in teaching/lecturing in various universities. He has worked with numerous national and international organizations in India and abroad. His scholarly work includes projects and publications on agrarian political economy, land politics and development interventions, employment generation through microfinance, disaster and development, conflict management and peace building, Faith based organizations and Development. He has published in reputed regional, national and international academic journals, magazines and newspapers, and has presented papers on numerous conferences in and outside India. He has authored a book on Disaster Management titled "Natural Disaster and Humanitarian Responses: A case study of Kashmir". Peer is also the editor of a book "Breaking Mazes; an anthology of KehwaTalk on Kashmir". He is presently working on couple of books, one of them titled ‘Pieces of Earth” to be published by Oxford University Press in 2017 and second one titled “Encountering Disasters in South Asia”. Peer is also making a documentary on the lives of conflict hit youth in Kashmir.
